Zamaani means “power” or “united force” in Rukiga / Rufumbira. Inspired by the community work our founder’s late grandfather (May he Rest in Peace) did in Kanungu District to transform lives through education, religion and philanthropy.
The Zamaani Inspire Foundation Honors his Legacy.
We are committed to transforming the lives of vulnerable children and youth in both Local and Refugee communities in Southwestern Uganda through education, sportsmanship and sustainable development. For a future where all individuals are strong and independent.
To inspire, equip, and empower vulnerable communities and the youth to reach their full potential through education, mentorship, environmental sustainability, and skills development.
Recognizing education as the key to opportunity, we established the “Education for All Project” to help children overcome barriers to learning. Every term, 250 pupils receive scholastic materials, mentorship, and sanitary pads for girls to ensure uninterrupted schooling. By addressing these needs, we not only help keep children in school but also empower them to build a better future.
Our skills training programs provide youth with the tools needed for financial independence. In partnership with Yuvraj TVS, we have trained over 6,000 youth in motorcycle mechanics, 70% of whom are female. These programs open doors to employment, entrepreneurship, and long-term self-reliance, reaching youth across Uganda eager to create brighter futures.
Sports unite and inspire. Through the annual Zamaani Inspire Tournament, refugees and local communities come and play together to foster teamwork, discipline, and talent development. This is more than just a game, it’s a an opportunity to nurture values, build relationships, and cultivate a sense of belonging.
