Environmental degradation has become a pressing issue in Kanungu and across Uganda, with deforestation, pollution, and climate change posing serious threats to many lives.

The Go Green Initiative aims to address these challenges by mobilizing communities towards effective environmental awareness and action.

Through tree planting, improved waste management, and the promotion of sustainable agricultural practices, this initiative seeks to restore the environment while fostering community responsibility for environmental conservation.

Planned Activities.

  • Collaborating with schools, local governments, and community groups to plant 10,000 trees within the first year.
  • Educating communities on better waste management practices, including recycling and upcycling.
  • Training farmers in Eco-friendly farming techniques, such as composting and Agro-forestry.
